Our walk in Marquette

Last week after work one day, the girls and I decided to take a walk and explore downtown Marquette a little. Here's a few things we saw...

Spring in the UP

So the weather has finally started to warm up and Craig had to take advantage of it and play with the girls at Picnic Rocks Park. It had to be in the 60's but the water was still frigid. They had a great time remembering back to October when we had gone there to play in the sand before the snow came.

Amazing views of Fall Colors atop Sugarloaf today in Marquette. Reminds me of our hikes up to Bristol Cliffs in Bristol, VT.


Where are we anyway?

Who has ever heard of being able to walk on the beach, in shorts & t-shirts, in the UP of Michigan on October 11th?! Crazy, right! Not this year...it was 72 degrees and BEAUTIFUL, so we had to go out and enjoy it. Here's what we saw...
